The National Association of State School Nurse Consultants, Inc. (NASSNC)
The mission of the National Association of State School Nurse Consultants is to promote the health and learning of
the nation's children and youth by providing national leadership and advocacy, impacting public policy, collaborating,
and proactively influencing school health programs and school nursing practice.
National Association Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NAPNAP)
Is the professional organization that advocates for children ( infants through young adults) and provides leadership
for Pediatric Nurse Practitioners who deliver primary health care in a variety of settings.
The National Association of School Nurses for the Deaf (NASND)
To enhance the quality of health education and services to Deaf students through education, networking, and promoting
effective communication between deaf and hearing.
National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA)
The NSNA Mission is to: organize, represent and mentor students preparing for initial licensure as registered nurses,
as well as those enrolled in baccalaureate completion programs; convey the standards and ethics of the nursing profession;
promote development of the skills that students will need as responsible and accountable members of the nursing profession;
advocate for high quality health care; advocate for and contribute to advances in nursing education; and develop nursing students
who are prepared to lead the profession in the future.
The American Association of Nurse Attorneys (TAANA)
The American Association of Nurse Attorneys (TAANA) was established in 1982. Currently TAANA provides resources, education, and
leadership to its members and the healthcare and legal communities regarding health law and policy.
